This is the oldest surviving Catholic Church in the Auckland Diocese and one of the oldest in New Zealand.
We welcome all who enter through St John’s doors into this sacred space.

Sunday Masses (Summer Timetable):
Saturday Vigil 5pm; Sunday 7am and 9.30.
7am Mass resumed 3rd October 2025.
Masses: NO weekday Masses until further notice.
Saturday & Public Holidays 9am
*9am Mass and 9.30 Reconciliation cancelled Saturday 20th December 2025*
Reconciliation: Saturday 9.30am
except Holy Saturday.

PARKING IN ST JOHN'S CARPARK
Those attending Sunday or weekday Masses do not pay if using St John’s carpark. On Sunday, you may leave your car in the carpark for one hour after Mass (that is until 11.30am) without payment. cars left beyond that time could be towed away. On weekdays and Saturday mornings, you have 15 minutes after Mass only.
